Risk is a remake of a classical board strategic game "Risk" (in a so-called "world domination" genre). The game starts with creating your own general. You can pick up a name for him. Then you have to choose an opponents (at least two). They can be as AI-controlled computer players or a human players (no network multiplayer, only "Hot seat" mode). Computer generals differs in their style of game (agression, skill etc) - you can choose between 5 levels of difficulty.
In the game you have a map of the world, separated into many terriories (one country has multy terriories). The goal of the "Risk" is to conqueror the world, by taking over all territories. At first you distribute your limited armies to territories, after all players do the same, you have another 20 armie sets to duistribute. At next step the hostility begins. You choose which territory to attack. Fight is modelled by rolling a dice. You can incerase a number of rolls by having more army groups in attack. If you win - you will conquer the territory. There are also different bonuses, for example for taking over an entire continent.
Though the idea of Risk is rather old, it's an interesting expirience to see it in a casual look. Many games can be interested in Risk, it's really addictive game, and it's fresh look is attractive.

"Nertz Solitaire" is a new release of one of the most favourite games. It's also known as Squeak, Grouch, Peanuts and some others. Nertz is a real-time version of Spit and Solitaire, so it's still a classic card game bit with some action features.
You have to put cards in a specified order and remove all cards from gameboard, but you have to do this faster than your opponent (it's hard to believe, but your opponents are squirells).
You can choose between three diffirent game modes: Quick Play, Championship or Classic Nertz. Before starting to play Nertz you have also to choose an opponent, there are eight of them, and they differ from each other in skill and speed. When you go through the Championship mode some additional staff are unlocked. Among it are music tracks, new cards and beautiful bachgrounds.
Nertz is a very fun and family-friendly game. It has a well-polished graphics, addicting gameplay and can be a good diversion. But there are some weakness in it, Nertz lacks an online multiplayer feature and sometime the game crashes. But it happens rarely and cant spoil an impression from the game.

Our today game is a puzzler from a popular match-3 genre. Scepter of Ra brings you to ancient Egypt. During this journey through pyramids you have to restore a scepter of Ra. This staff is a key to a wonderful Golden Pyramid.
Gameplay is rather simple - you have to release glyphs. When glyph is released it will take its place at a staff. Your goal is to restore a scepter by filling all empty places with glyphs. How do you release glyphs? Gameboard is filled with colored stones, on some of them there are carved glyphs. You can shoot with colored stones from four sides of board. Glyphed stones will stop your stone and it will stay at a board, otherwise it will just fly through the board. By matching three or more similiar stones you will delete them from board. You free the glyphs only if the covering stones that you delete are of the same type with the glyph stone.
There also some special types of stones, for example fire and glass stones. Fire stone can help you, it will eplode when thrown and can free several glyphs by destroying the stones around it. Use this possibility wisely. There are also glass stones, but they mostly disturbs. It will block stones, preventing you from releasing them.
There are three different game modes in Scepter of Ra: Normal, Time and Relax. In Normal mode you are following the storyline of a game and completing levels with increasing difficulty. In Relax mode you just solve puzzles. And in Time mode you have to solve puzzles at a fixed time. So you can choose a mode which is more interesting for you.
